A lovely splash of mid-century kitchen nostalgia. This matching pair of vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers features an elegant, gently flared architectural silhouette. Each shaker is delicately hand-painted with a soft autumnal floral and woven basket motif against a warm, cream-to-tan gradient background, finished with a hand-painted brown rim line. The tops feature a beautiful starburst pierced hole design. Both pieces retain their clear green "JAPAN" hallmark stamped cleanly on the underbase. Excellent vintage condition with zero chips, cracks, or crazing. A gorgeous addition to a vintage tableware collection or a modern mid-century display shelf.
